FT Kitchen Manager Applications accepted until August 15.
We are now hiring a FT Preschool Kitchen Manager! This is a FT position: 7 am – 4 pm or 7:30 pm – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday. Position will begin on Monday, August 20 and pays $8/hr. Kitchen Manager has their choice of a 1- hour lunch or two 15-minute breaks with a 30 minute lunch. All employees receive a 50% discount on childcare for their children at our center. The only childcare openings we have available however are for children 3 and up.
Duties include but are not limited to: preparing all meals – Breakfast, Lunch, and PM Snack; cleaning the lunch room after each class; following all guidelines set forth by the State of Missouri for sanitation & food handling; working with the Director to make menus, food & cleaning supplies lists, and recipes; and to complete tasks in a timely yet thorough manner.
Requirements: Must be mature and responsible, capable of working independently, 18 years + of age, Previous food-handling experience a plus. Also must enjoy children and is able to interact positively with children, parents, and other employees. This is a very physical job with most of the day spent working on your feet. Some lifting is required.

Substitute Teachers All Rooms Updated 1/1/2012 Position is still open
Hiring until no longer needed.
Number of hours available varies weekly.
1. Work with the Lead or Assistant Teacher to make sure all cleaning duties are performed for the day and all necessary tasks are completed.
2. Communicate with the parents and make sure children are clean and well cared for during your time in the room
3. Follow the lesson plan and schedule to make sure everything is completed each day
4. Complete paperwork as needed
5. Must be hardworking, pleasant, and patient
6. Must be willing to accept direction and adapt teaching practices as needed
7. Ability to communicate with the Director or Assistant Director when available to substitute. Priority will be given to those who show initiative and who work well with the rest of the staff.
