Letter From Classroom Teachers
Dear Parents:
In the Infant room at 417 Early Learning Center, our goal is provide a loving and caring environment for your little one. We also strive to do the best we can to work on a one-on-one basis with each infant on their developmental stage throughout the first year. We expect each baby to be at a different stage and will do what works best with their specific growing and learning processes. Along with the one-on-one time with the teacher, they will also have as much interaction with each other as possible. While they may not be able to speak to each other as older children do, this interaction is still very important for them in their first year of development.
As each infant grows closer to turning one, they will also have the opportunity to interact with the toddlers at circle time and various other activities periodically through the day to help prepare them for their transition to the toddler room. We make this transition a slow one so they have time to become accustomed to the change which makes it easier on them in the long run.
We believe parent communication is very important. If you find something that works really well at home and would like for us to try it at school, we would be happy to hear about it. We want to work with you to make your precious baby's first year as wonderful as possible.
We are looking forward to meeting you and having your family be a part of our center and our lives!
Sincerely,
Ms. Tamara & Ms. Sammi
